[Firmware version 11 only] The EC-C1200 inverter with brake chopper firmware allows the user to configure which kind of brake resistor is connected to the inverter. Correct resistor type should be chosen to make sure that the device operates correctly. Different brake resistor connections are explained in the picture below:
Note that only the option "Y-connection, neutral to DC-link minus" can be used if a single phase resistor is used, since this is the only option that allows power flow without a 3-phase connection.
