If an EC-C inverter is not functioning correctly, or if the device has to be commissioned again after changing the installation significantly, it can be useful to simply reset all the parameters back to the default value and then start over with the parameter setup. For this purpose, PowerUSER allows a quick and convenient parameter reset function, found in the parameter tools section.
A factory reset can also help with certain faults occurring after a firmware update. It is recommended to perform a factory reset always when the firmware update changes the major version of the firmware, for example changing from firmware 7 to 11.
To perform a factory reset, navigate to the parameter tools tab and press on the "Restore device to factory defaults" button.
Click "Yes" and let the device reboot.
After the device reboots, all parameters have been reset to the factory default values. Now the parameters can be setup again according to the installation, see the quick guides and application manuals for information about how to setup the parameters correctly.
