[2023-12-19] The latest version of PowerUSER is required to connect to new inverters. For more information see the below link:https://danfosseditron.zendesk.com/hc/en-gb/articles/5045659438877-EC-C1200-hardware-modifications-and-required-actions-due-to-it- |
By default, the PowerUSER signal scope interface does not show any information about the limits and limit words of the recorded signal log. However, the user can enable a limit word decoder in the signal scope view, which automatically decodes and shows the active limits of the log, as shown in the figure below.
Example of a limit word decode. User-set torque limit is causing a limitation of the
inverter torque and consequently the output current, and these limits (highlighted in red)
can be seen in the limit word decode window on the right.
To enable the limit word decoder, at least one of the following limit words must be selected to the signal scope, in firmware version 11:
- 2.3.2.1 Control limit word (motor control inverter)
- 3.3.2.1 Control limit word (AFE inverter)
- 4.3.2.1 Control limit word (microgrid inverter)
- 5.3.2.1 Control limit word (DC/DC converter)
- 6.3.2.1 Control limit word (brake chopper)
In firmware version 7:
- 10001.31 control_signals_statuses.control_limit_word (motor control inverter)
- 10553.1100 dcdc_statuses.chopcon_limit_word (DC/DC converter)
- 10151.31 lc_control_signals_statuses.control_limit_word (AFE inverter)
- 10185.31 uc_control_signals_statuses.control_limit_word (microgrid inverter)
The decode window can then be opened by right-clicking on one of the aforementioned control limit words, and selecting the option "Show decode" from the menu that opens, as shown in figure below.
After the decode window has been opened, select the correct limit word from the top bar according to which inverter type is in use, as shown in figure below.
The limit word decoder will now automatically show the active limits according to the control limit word. If you are recording a signal log, the active limits will be shown in realtime.
