Saving a fault log requires a working connection between Danfoss Editron inverter and a computer, please see 'Connecting to a Danfoss Editron inverter'. The fault log of the connected device can be viewed and downloaded from PowerUSER's Faults view (a stethoscope on blue background).
On the PowerUSER Faults view, 'Active faults' tab lists the faults and warnings present in the device at the moment, in red and yellow respectively. Faults, also called trips, prevent the device from running, while warnings are only for information about a potential problem. Personnel familiar with the system can also use this view to clear the active faults after considering the risks. The 'Log' tab will display a history of all faults which have occurred during the lifetime of the device, in chronological order with the latest event at the top.
To save the fault log to your computer, click 'Log' on the top right and choose 'Save log' on the bottom right corner. From there a desired location for the fault log file can be chosen. Make sure the 24 V supply and connection to the device is not disrupted during the download process.
The fault log file can be opened with any common program capable of handling .csv -files, such as MS Excel. For a list and explanation of the fault codes, see the communication manuals and/or the EC-C1200 Fault codes (firmware 11) page.
